A technique of divination for inquiry into questions
The I Ching is an Oracle, a resource of wisdom that can be consulted to ask any question or engage in a theme that requires, insight or answers relevant to a persons area of concern
This system of I Ching Divination that will be taught is also called the ’’King Wens Oracle’’ System or ’’3 Coin Method’’. It is distinct from the more traditional use of the I Ching, called the scholar’s method, which casts a hexagram and the interpretation read directly from a text.
This Divination method is unique in that it translates the 6 lines of a Hexagram into the five elements of Chinese Philosophy and is then interpreted according to the strength and the meaning of the element in relationship to the self, the theme in question, and season of asking. Much additional information can also be illuminated surrounding the circumstances and situation of the question and person’s life as a person’s Four Pillars of Destiny can be woven into the information.
The extensive theoretical background to the I Ching which this course presents also deepens the understanding of Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and Traditional Chinese Medicine
The course will include:
· I Ching Theory
· Philosophy of Divination
· Trigram Interpretation
